I just finished this little illustration this morning. It took me much longer than it should have to create the actual shooting stars. It was one of those effects that I have done a thousand times before but simply could not remember how to do it. I finally figured it out though! If you have ever seen a meteor shower, it gives you this sort of feeling.
I am going to be entering this illustration into a greeting card competition. Wish me luck!
